Every August, the automotive world descends on California’s Monterey Peninsula.

But for Fast Lane Drive, Monterey Car Week is about much more than seeing incredible cars.

For our 2026 Monterey Car Week experience, Fast Lane Drive members traveled from chapters across our global network to California for several days built around driving, hospitality, friendship, networking, and unforgettable experiences.
Rather than simply attending Car Week, Fast Lane Drive created its own experience within Monterey Car Week.
From a private Rolex evening and Casa Fast Lane Drive to driving the California coast, The Quail, Exotics on Broadway, private dinners, and late night celebrations, this was Monterey Car Week through the eyes of the Fast Lane Drive community.
Why Monterey Car Week Is Different
There are automotive events, and then there is Monterey Car Week.
For collectors and enthusiasts, few places in the world bring together such a concentration of significant cars.
Modern hypercars sit alongside historically important Ferraris. One off specifications appear in hotel parking lots. Cars normally hidden inside private collections suddenly emerge onto the streets of Carmel.
But what makes Monterey special isn’t simply the machinery.

Fast Lane Drive has grown far beyond a group of exotic car owners meeting for a weekend drive.
Today, FLD connects members across 28 cities, creating a private global network built around automobiles, experiences, relationships, and philanthropy.
Monterey Car Week gave us an opportunity to bring that network together in one place.
Members traveled to California from across the Fast Lane Drive community to experience one of the biggest weeks in the automotive world together.
But the goal wasn’t to create the largest convoy.
It wasn’t about seeing who had the most expensive car.
And it wasn’t about parking cars somewhere simply to be seen.
The objective was to create an environment where members from different cities could drive together, eat together, celebrate together, and leave Monterey knowing people they may never have met otherwise.
That is what a global car club should be.

Of course, this was Monterey Car Week—and the lineup of cars within the Fast Lane Drive community was extraordinary.
Our members arrived with some of the most desirable modern supercars and hypercars in the world, creating a lineup that was remarkable even by Monterey standards.
Among the cars joining Fast Lane Drive throughout the week were a Ferrari Monza SP2, Ferrari Daytona SP3, Koenigsegg Regera, five Lamborghini Revueltos, a Ford GT, and an incredible collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, McLarens, and other exotic and performance cars.
Seeing one of these cars is special.
Seeing them together is something else entirely.
But the best part was that these cars weren’t brought to Monterey simply to sit behind ropes.
We drove them.
They became part of the experience leaving Casa Fast Lane Drive together, heading toward Big Sur, arriving at events, and creating memories along some of California’s most beautiful roads.

For a few days during Monterey Car Week, some extraordinary machines became the backdrop for something even more important—a global community sharing the same roads, tables, experiences, and passion.
Day One: Fast Lane Drive x Fourtané
Our Monterey Car Week began Wednesday evening with a private cocktail experience hosted with Fourtané in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Fourtané’s connection to the world of Rolex and fine watches made it the perfect way to begin the week.
Cars and watches have always shared a natural relationship.
Both worlds celebrate engineering, craftsmanship, design, heritage, and the emotional connection people develop with beautifully made machines.
But more importantly, the evening gave members time to reconnect before the intensity of Car Week began.
No rally schedule.
No rushing from venue to venue.
Just members, collectors, friends, watches, cars, and conversation.
It established the tone for everything that followed.
Casa Fast Lane Drive x SPARQ
Thursday morning started early at Casa Fast Lane Drive x SPARQ in Carmel Valley.
Instead of relying entirely on restaurants, hotels, and public venues throughout the week, we wanted our members to have something different:
A home during Monterey Car Week.
Casa Fast Lane Drive became that home.
Members could arrive in the morning, have breakfast, meet people from other chapters, relax between events, and reconnect at night.
During a week when almost everything feels temporary, crowded, and constantly moving, having a private home base completely changed the experience.
And at 8:30 AM, it was time for what Fast Lane Drive does best.
Drive.
The Fast Lane Drive to Big Sur
There are few places better suited to an exotic car than California’s Central Coast.
The ocean.
The cliffs.
The elevation changes.
The sound of engines moving through the mountains.
And some of the most beautiful roads in America.
Our members left Casa Fast Lane Drive for a curated morning drive toward Big Sur.
For us, this is an essential part of Monterey Car Week.
You can spend the entire week looking at extraordinary automobiles sitting on lawns.
But these cars were built to move.
A Ferrari looks incredible parked outside a hotel.
It feels completely different when you’re following one through the California mountains with the Pacific Ocean beside you.
That is the difference between attending Car Week and experiencing it.
The drive wasn’t about racing or proving anything.
It was about enjoying the cars responsibly, sharing the road with friends, and creating the kind of memories that cannot be replicated inside a showroom.
Lunch, Conversations and Time Together
After the morning drive, members came back together for lunch.
These moments might not produce the biggest photographs of the week, but they are often the most important.
Someone from San Diego sits beside someone from New York.
A member from Miami meets someone from Monaco.
Two people who arrived because they love cars discover they work in complementary industries.
Business relationships begin.
Friendships develop.
Future trips get planned.
And suddenly a membership in one city becomes access to relationships around the world.

After some time to recharge, members returned to Casa Fast Lane Drive for cocktails, dinner, and an evening together.
This was another important part of how we designed Monterey.
Car Week can easily become transactional.
Go to an event.
Take a photograph.
See a car.
Go to another event.
Repeat.
We wanted something more personal.
Our evening at Casa gave members the opportunity to actually spend time together without constantly thinking about where they needed to be next.

Friday: The Quail
Friday morning brought one of the most anticipated events of Monterey Car Week:
The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
For automotive collectors, The Quail offers a remarkable combination of automotive history and modern performance.
Historic racing cars can sit only steps away from the newest hypercars in the world.
Manufacturers bring significant vehicles.
Collectors reveal extraordinary examples.
And some of the world’s most passionate automotive enthusiasts come together in a relatively intimate environment.
Our members had the freedom to explore The Quail before returning to Casa Fast Lane Drive for our afternoon gathering.
That balance became an important part of our Monterey philosophy:

Saturday: Exotics on Broadway
Saturday brought a completely different energy.
Fast Lane Drive headed to Exotics on Broadway, where modern exotic and hypercar culture takes center stage.
After several days of intimate dinners, coastal drives, and collector focused experiences, Saturday was louder, younger, and more energetic.
It was a chance for members to enjoy the public side of Monterey Car Week and experience the incredible enthusiasm surrounding modern performance cars.
Ferraris.
Lamborghinis.
McLarens.
Porsches.
Hypercars.
And some of the most extraordinary modern vehicles in the world.
Monterey is one of the rare places where automotive dreams become temporarily normal.
One Final Night Together
Saturday evening brought everyone back together for our closing dinner and party.
And by that point, something had changed.
People who arrived from different chapters earlier in the week were no longer strangers.
They had driven together.
They had eaten together.
They had spent days surrounded by some of the world’s greatest automobiles.
They had created stories together.
That is ultimately what we wanted from Monterey.
Not simply another automotive event.
A shared experience.
Cars Are the Beginning, Not the Destination
There is a misconception about exotic car clubs.
People see the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Porsches, and hypercars and naturally assume the club is about the cars.
Fast Lane Drive certainly celebrates them.
We love driving.
We love automotive engineering.
We love hearing a group of incredible cars start early in the morning.
But after building this community across cities and countries, one lesson has become increasingly clear:
Cars are the connector. People are the purpose.
Someone may initially apply because they bought their first Ferrari and want people to drive with.
Then they attend an event.
They meet another member.
Six months later, they are traveling together.
Their families know each other.
They’ve made a business introduction.
They’ve helped support a charity.
And they’re meeting again at Monterey Car Week with friends from chapters thousands of miles away.
