Exciting News on What’s to Come at Fast Lane Drive

May 24, 2022 Uncategorized

Fast Lane Drive has enjoyed impressive growth with its flagship San Diego car club. Since our start in 2018, we’ve added two more chapters to our community of exotic car enthusiasts in Los Angeles and Scottsdale, Arizona. We hope it’s the start of more clubs under the Fast Lane Drive umbrella to meet the demand for our unique blend of driving excursions and community-building.

Let’s take a closer look at what we’ve done so far and what we have in store for the club in the months to come.

Our Los Angeles Chapter

We knew we had to expand into Los Angeles after watching the success of our San Diego chapter. Since that expansion, we’ve worked to create fresh relationships with local businesses and new organizations for our philanthropic efforts in the Los Angeles area. It’s also a great meeting location for drives along the California coast, Malibu, and resort escapes like Palm Springs a few hours east of the city.

Our Scottsdale Chapter

We’ve spent enough time on drives and weekend getaways throughout Arizona that we knew starting a chapter there made a lot of sense. Since then, we’ve had successful trips to the desert town of Sedona, with more Arizona drives planned for the fall. As with our other chapters, we continue to seek out fresh relationships with Scottsdale-based businesses and nonprofits to build our brand and give back to communities in Arizona.

Upcoming Events

Fast Lane Drive has a number of exciting events coming up for car club members. Let’s take a look at what we’ve got coming up through the end of the year:

  • May 14-15: Las Vegas
  • June 18: Women’s Event
  • July 9-10: Los Angeles
  • August 27: Pool/Yacht Party
  • September 24: Southern California Drive
  • October 22: Arizona Drive
  • November 12: Women’s Event & Men’s Autocross
  • December 10: Christmas Party

We’re always working our way through new member applications, so if any of these events sound right up your alley, don’t hesitate to join our growing waitlist. We like to keep things exclusive, limiting each chapter to 100 members. This allows us to promote events that are manageable, safe, and allow for solid networking and real connections among members.

New members do have to meet a few prerequisites, like owning a European supercar and a commitment to attending at least three of our hosted events per year. Our members also need an interest in giving back. In fact, supporting our philanthropic efforts will be an important part of your membership. We believe supporting our communities is as much a part of our mission as all of those scenic drives.

How We Started

Fast Lane Drive has come a long way since our first drive in the Rancho Santa Fe hills in 2018. The drive wasn’t an official one. Our co-founders Diaa El All, Clément Connor, and Giovanni Letellier got a small group of friends together for a scenic drive, with time to catch up over lunch after. An idea for a more official organization for more of the same was born.

Since then, we haven’t wavered much from a simple formula: get fast car enthusiasts together for a scenic drive, with time to socialize after. The competitive aspects of other car clubs never factored into that original mission because that’s just not what we’re about.

We hit our first goal of reaching 100 members by March 2021, just three years later. Since that first year, we’ve grown our brand as more than a car club that meets up for drives and car rallies. We’re a community of individuals with a shared interest in not only cars but networking and philanthropy. Giving back has been an important piece of our organization since day one.

Since 2018, we’ve sponsored toy drives and held annual poker nights for charities to raise money and awareness for causes important to our causes. In March 2021, we raised over $20,000 during our annual poker night for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We’ve also maintained a long-term relationship with Voices for Children, a nonprofit that advocates for children in the foster care system.

We’re not going to stop there.

What’s Next for Fast Lane Drive?

Fast Lane Drive has plans to expand to other car hubs around the United States in the coming year. Our ultimate goal is to become an international car club, with chapters around the world for car enthusiasts seeking a different kind of exotic car club.

Until then, we want to continue growing our existing chapters, including our San Diego base, while maintaining those exclusive vibes that make our car club so unique. We continue to work with our members to partner with additional organizations and nonprofits to make sure that we are giving back to communities that have welcomed us.
